I Can’t Draw

  • Arts Tree 248 Preston Road Wynnum West, QLD, 4178 Australia (map)

$275 (materials included!), 9 participants + 1 scholarship seat.

Hands on skills = Creative confidence

The secret to confidence on the canvas? Trusting your ability to draw. If you want to improve your painting, grow in artistic confidence, and build trust in your creative instincts, this one-day workshop is for you!

Strong drawing skills give you the courage to start and the tools to critique and refine as you go. Over time, this makes creating your own work feel more natural—and makes it easier to troubleshoot when things don’t go to plan.

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore drawing techniques, visual analysis, and the value of critique (including why being “wrong” is essential to making great art). You’ll learn key terms of analysis before diving into exercises designed to reinforce your skills. By the end of the day, you’ll walk away with a take-home learning booklet, a stack of sketches, and a whole new way of seeing your work.

Who’s it for?
Absolute beginners to advanced artists—anyone ready to sharpen their skills and embrace the creative process. Ages 15+. Basically, anyone who thinks they can’t draw!

To book your seat click on that button below and you’ll be taken straight to the Arts Tree site for all your purchasing needs.
