Hello, this is Penny's latest finished piece from one of my Aged Care classes.
She hated it, loudly, every single week until the last one when it was finished... At which point she was ecstatic 😂👍🏼👌🏼👩🏼&zwj;🎨

It doesn't matter how old we get

I talked about this little trick in the podcast I'm in that was released just a few days ago! Talk about timing!

When my students are feeling weird and kooky or when I'm feeling overwhelmed, short of breath, and not-enough...
I look to the side and

Life is good, students are better, art is great!
What more could I ask for really? Nothing!

This stuff is so very exciting for me, namely because it gives me the reasons as to why my painting is or isn't working.
Facts are bloody beautiful thing

A few weeks ago I taught a professional development workshop for Brisbane Art Teachers via Oxlades Art Supplies and folks... IT WAS GREEEAT!!!

I was bloody nervous, I'm not going to lie, my nerdy soul has a crush on teacher's of all ilk so standing

I used to be scared that my mum was spraying cooking oil under my bedroom door to make me fat while I slept.
I would roll up a towel every night and stop the gaps to foil her attempts.
Take that!

I used to be scared to eat berry flavoured yoghurt. M

A few tips and tricks that I've noticed over the last 6 months that have helped me, my brain, my body and my work flow more cohesively:
