Creativity loves a deadline! This workshop is all about embracing time limits to make faster decisions, trust your artistic instincts, and break free from overthinking.

I know it works—because I built this method to get the hell out of my own way!

30-Minute Masterpieces is a high-energy approach that distills all the nerdy art theory I’ve learned into fast, focused action. We’ll dive into the essential skills that help you get out of your head and onto the canvas… and trust me, onto the canvas we’ll get!

In just one day, you’ll complete three paintings while learning drawing analysis, value studies, color theory, and the fine art of critique. It’s a lot—but dang, it’s good!

Who’s it for?
Anyone ready to loosen up, paint boldly, and have fun. No experience required—just bring your curiosity.

This will be held at the beautiful Arts Tree Fine Art School in Wynnum on Saturday May 24th, 2025, and costs $250

Materials

• 3 sheets of thick cardboard (no bigger than A3)

• Acrylic paints: Napthol Red Light, Quinacridone Magenta, Cobalt Turquoise Light Hue, French Ultramarine, Arylamide Yellow Light, Arylamide Yellow Dark, Titanium White, carbon Black (or you can use the products at Arts Tree for an additional $20 paid on the day)

• Brushes for acrylic paints

• Jo Sonja Glaze Medium

• Chux cloth x 1

• Jar to hold water

• Pen to write notes
